Packages hitting mail on Monday!

Hi everyone,

It has been a few weeks since the last update, and we've been waiting on a report from Quartermaster to give you more detailed news. There was a slight delay as they sorted through the inventory from our warehouse, and there were a few dings and damages that we had to replace. That took an extra week or so to be sure they had enough required inventory, but that's all sorted and they have been packaging orders all week. I'm told that US, CANADA, and "REST OF THE WORLD" orders will be in the mail on Monday! ("Rest of the World" is all other territories not covered by any of the other regional settings...)

UK, EU, AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND, and ASIA orders are all on the same schedule from the previous update: Expected to arrive at their respective hubs by October 11th, with a couple of weeks for those hubs to process inventory and package those orders to likely go out the week of October 25th.

We'll keep you posted as they provide tracking info. 😊

We're sorry for the extended delay. Believe me, we share your frustration. None of the delays were at all intentional, nor was it due to any lack of priority effort. This particular project just fell within a window of increasingly complicated global shipping issues (which we're still struggling against, albeit now with more experience to better plan and estimate).

On the bright side, if you backed SMALL WORLD, those will be going within a week or two of MONOLITH, and we're right on track with SHANGRI-LA. In fact, we're so caught up, FALSE GUARD orders are able to piggyback on SHANGRI-LA orders for FREE.😎 So hopefully that goes to show that we aim to deliver! 😁 Your satisfaction is our agenda!

Shipping Update

Hi everyone!

It has been a few weeks so we wanted to provide a status update on Shipping.

All items have been delivered to Quartermaster Logistics.

They are now in the process of assembling the drop-shipments for the three international hubs while the domestic team starts assembling North American orders. They will send a final notification to everyone about a week before shipping in case of any last-minute address changes. We'll let you know when exactly those are expected to go out.

US and CANADA and "Rest of the World" orders should start going out the week of Sept 13th. We'll upload tracking info to Backerkit as soon as they are provided to us. You should (I believe) get a notification from Quartermaster with that tracking information as well.

UK and EU orders: Inventory will ship from QML the week of Sept 13th and should arrive at our distro hub in the UK (Spiral Galaxy) about 1-2 weeks later. (We'll have a more accurate ETA once it has gone out.) Once Spiral Galaxy has received everything, they will start packaging orders with an estimate of items going out mid-October (estimated the week of October 11th). I believe Spiral Galaxy will send a final notification for address confirmation as well as tracking information once shipped, but we'll provide more data as these steps are met.

AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND: Inventory is also scheduled to ship from QML the week of Sept 13, and should hopefully arrive by the end of September. This particular shipping corridor has been replete with surprises, however (skyrocketing costs, delays, etc), so we will definitely keep you posted. Assuming everything can reach Aetherworks (our AU hub) on time for fulfillment, they should be able to turn around your orders mid-October (est. week of Oct 11) as well. Delivery will take however long local postage tends to take in your area. 😊

ASIA order inventory will also leave QML the week of Sept 13 to arrive by end of the month. Similarly, the Asia hub (VFI) should be able to start shipping packages by mid-October. I'm told that final local delivery can take a bit longer, depending on territory, but we'll keep you posted with tracking info as it becomes available.

Fingers crossed that nothing unexpected throws any more spanners into the works! Hopefully, we've adjusted for the many shipping challenges introduced earlier in the year (which affected WAHCOMMO and BRINDILLE)! For what it's worth, however late those deliveries ended up, folks were overall very happy with the result, and we think you will be with MONOLITH as well! 😎

ADDRESSES LOCKED/SHIPPING STARTING SOON

As mentioned above, all goods have been shipped to Quartermaster Logistics, and they should receive everything for check-in next week. Once everything has been cataloged, they'll start shipping things out. You may get a message from Backerkit in the next 24hours to confirm your address one last time. Please  do so now if you need to! (Quartermaster may also send a similar final message immediately before they begin printing their postage, and that will TRULY be your last chance to revise your address with them.)

We're excited to get these beauties in everyone's hands! These recent shipping delays have been weighing on us all, and it will be nice to put them behind us. :)

CARBON GREY is now live! Here's where you can find it!

Hey everyone!

CARBON GREY RPG + OMNIBUS launched this morning!

...and it occurred to us that some of you might be confused as to where to find it...

Since this is our first gaming project from a separate creative department focused primarily on gaming, we chose to group those projects under a different Kickstarter account: MAGNETIC PRESS PLAY. So you won't necessarily get a notification from Kickstarter pointing you towards those projects (until you back one).

And since it is primarily a tabletop game project, it is listed in the GAMES/TABLETOP category.

But to make it easy, you can just go to www.carbon-grey.com, which will take you straight to the campaign page!

A couple of other big tabletop games dropped this morning too, so we're kind of caught in the blast zone of those goliaths, but please help us out on Day-1! We need all the launch momentum we can get! :)

While we continue to get things over to Quartermaster and ready for fulfillment, we wanted to post a quick update to the previous update -- while the CARBON GREY RPG project mentioned in the previous update focused on the game itself, we wanted to spotlight the fact that the CARBON GREY Kickstarter is also offering a deluxe, 300+ page Omnibus Hardcover collecting and re-editing the complete, sold-out 10-issue comic series by Hoang Nguyen, Khari Evans, Paul Gardner, and Kinsun Loh!
